The ‘i love you’ mug comes from my desire to have big cups of tea. The kind of mug that gives a weighty, grounded feeling. Once you fill it with tea, put a bit of honey inside, you won’t have to go back for a second cup.

The ‘i love you’ design started when I messed up what was supposed to be a perfect circle. I filled in the smudges and suddenly had a ring stain, like what you see on a napkin after an amazing first date or a nourishing coffee with a friend.

I wrote ‘i love you’ in the center spontaneously, with the intention of filling in the design. But once the words were there, it felt complete. Perfect. And so it is. The ‘i love you’ mug. A daily reminder for yourself or for anyone you love.
